Molly Ann Farms is an annually licensed Class 5 Cannabis Retailer located in Haledon, New Jersey, targeting a grand opening to the public in June of 2023. Molly Ann Farms will be a large format cannabis retailer occupying a sizeable building with ample on-site parking, a 2,000+ square foot sales floor, and room to expand, providing a large number of consumer clients in the vicinity with a convenient location to shop for usable cannabis and cannabis products. By minimizing parking hassles and wait times, offering a large selection of high-quality products at fair prices, and providing high levels of customer engagement from a friendly and well-informed sales staff, Molly Ann Farms aims to be one of the first, largest, and highest volume adult use cannabis retailers in the state.

Responsibilities:

  • Package and QA delivery orders and pick-up orders through the Point of Sale system and available fulfillment inventory.

  • Transport packaged orders to their designated temporary location.

  • Alert Inventory Manager when PAR (Periodic Automatic Replacement) levels are reached for each product SKU.

  • Assist in inventory audits as scheduled.

  • Scan and enter in new inventory into the inventory management system as needed.

Retail Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will supervise Budtenders, Check-in Associates, oversee sales floor operations during the assigned shift, and reports directly to the General Manager. The Sales Manager is a critical role that supports and inspires sales staff, upholds the integrity and values of the company, and provides unparalleled customer service and care.

Responsibilities

  • Implement operational rules, regulations, policies, and  procedures

  • Supervise, manage, and direct the activities of the sales team

  • Implement company policies and ensure staff adheres to best practices

  • Manage and inspire staff to deliver the highest level of customer  service and satisfaction

  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state/provincial, and federal laws and regulations

  • Assist with customer  service  and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Liaise with law enforcement, vendors, landlords, and local community as needed

  • Perform daily, monthly, and yearly  inventory  audits and reconciliations

  • Work with the Commission-designated inventory tracking tool, METRC

  • Place  product orders in coordination with the General Manager based on projected needs

The General Manager is the backbone of the retail operation; he or she assists will assist the owners with overseeing all departments, employees, and operations, ensure compliance across the business, serving as a high-level escalation point for addressing client and employee issues or concerns, and leading by example to foster a strong company culture of spreading happiness through professional achievement.

Description

The General Manager’s main responsibility is to hit company sales and revenue goals by ensuring a superior client experience while at the same time promoting a positive, professional work environment geared towards inclusion, respect, development and growth among employees.  As General Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations at the retail level, including: hiring, onboarding/training, scheduling, supervising, operations, cash handling, inventory, compliance and internal reporting.  The line management team consisting of the Inventory Manager, Retail Sales Managers and Security Lead will all report directly to the General Manager. The role requires strong leadership and client service skills necessary to instill a culture of client excellence and compliance across the entire staff.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.

  • Manage, supervise, and direct the activities of all assigned staff:

  • Help hire and train Inventory and Retail Sales Managers and assist them in hiring and training their own direct reports.

  • Oversee standard operating procedures for the retail business, updating as necessary.

  • Implement company policies and ensure staff adhere to best practices

  • Help set sales, service, and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them

  • Make recommendations regarding hiring, disciplining, terminating, and advancing employees

  • Oversee staff scheduling to ensure optimal employee coverage relative to business demands by shift

  • Review employee performance regularly and maintain employee records

  • Ensure ongoing staff education on cannabis  products, strains, and consumption methods

  • Manage and inspire internal staff to deliver the highest level of customer service

  • Ensure the safety and satisfaction of every customer and employee

  • Manage and maintain retail sales and inventory management software

  • Work closely with Inventory Manager to ensure an adequate supply of quality products, overseeing delivery intake and manifests.

  • Review regular inventory audits and oversee any investigations into any potential inventory diversions, reporting discrepancies or diversions to appropriate contacts.

  • Oversee any product recalls or client complaints regarding adverse reactions.

  • Prepare internal reporting regarding revenue, inventory sales and employee performance as directed.

  • Assist in the development of strategy, budgets, marketing initiatives and sales forecasts

  • Liaise with law enforcement, vendors, and local community as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of management experience

  • Proficient with basic software (ex. Microsoft Office, POS and Inventory Management software)

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • High School diploma or  equivalent; bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
